Endowing Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool
Hello Fanny Chapman Members,
As our beloved community pool reaches towards 100 years of serving the Doylestown and surrounding community, we want to maintain it at a level that continues to honor the legacy of the Mercer and Lear Families and what this facility has meant to us over its many decades. In order to assist in this endeavor, a memorial, bequest, and gift funding endowment has been implemented for Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool to help maintain and improve our facility in the years ahead. You can contribute a memorial to someone or a group, make a bequest, or you can designate a gift. If you would like to contribute money to Fanny Chapman, our MBG (memorial / bequest / gift) funding can be designated as follows:
Unrestricted Funds - If currency is contributed to this fund it is applied to our capital expenditures for the current year(s) or a capital improvement that needs to be addressed (Think of this fund as general housekeeping).
Restricted Funds – These funds are designed for a specific cause. If you contribute to one of these funds, all of the currency is applied to one of the following funds. Here is a current list of restricted funds:
Financial Assistance Fund - money dedicated to this fund is for families in need of financial aid for pool membership and/or swim lessons.
Harrison Fund – Has been set up as a trust fund for financial assistance for swim lessons.
Fanny Chapman Brick Fund - purchase a brick with the current options provided which includes messaging and if you would like you can incorporate a Fanny Chapman Dolphin.
